Sri Ganesha Sloka 2 - Agajaanana padhmaarkam

Sri Ganesha is considered to be the beloved son of Parvathi devi, all powerful and bestower of wishes. Below sloka or mantra or prayer beautifully describes these characteristics especially about how the sight of Lord Ganapathi brings joy to Parvathi devi.

Meaning:
I Worship day and night Lord Ganesha, who brightens Paravathi devi's face (just like how the first rays of the sun blossoms the lotus), who has an elephant's face, who has only one tusk and who bestows many boons to his devotees, to bestow a boon to me too.
