English Translation:

Birth of Rama alone in Ravi Dynasty, made it illustrious

Lord of Kauravas' (Duryodana) birth destroyed (kuru) dynasty

On earth, virtuous deeds and sins result like this at the end

Beloved of the Bounteous, Vema, listen!

Meaning:

When virtuous children are born, they bring credit to the family. But when children with bad character are born, they bring the entire dynasty into disrepute.
