English Translation:

Iron, if broken, twice or thrice

By heating can be joined together, gradually

Heart once broken can never be put together

Beloved of the Bounteous, Vema, listen !

Meaning:

When the iron breaks, one can weld it by heating it many a time. But when the heart breaks, one cannot heal it at all.

It is always possible to mend physical/material things, when a defect is found, but in the matters of heart, affection, we shoud be extremely careful in handling them, because once the bond is snapped, it is not possible to join it again.
